(Part 9) 1992: Canada 125 coins at Eaton’s

To mark Canada’s 125th birthday, the Mint issued 25c coins showing scenes from the provinces and territories, plus a commemorative aureate Dollar. The circulating versions were popular with collectors and the public and introduced new collectors to the hobby.

Canada’s first holographic stamp also garnered interest. We bought missing hologram panes and sold them to Kasimir Bileski.

Our u-shaped department was a perfect three-ring circus for serving the public. There was lots to look at atop and inside the counters.
