All Nations and Canada Stamp Finder brokered the sale of the finest of two known pairs of the 170 year old 12d Black, for $165,000 in August 2021. This pair is illustrated in Howes' Canada handbook and has previously graced the Pack, Adler, Jephcott, Leggett, Hillmer, and Cantor collections.
